About Stephen
I am the Non-Executive Chairman of Canaccord Wealth and Investment Banking businesses in Europe. I became a member of House of Lords (life Peerage) in May 2025. Previously, I served as the Executive Chairman of Eden Financial Limited, which was acquired by Canaccord in October 2012.
Before co-founding Eden Financial in 2005, I was CEO of Prudential-Bache International, a global financial services firm serving institutional and private clients throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia. I hold an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
