About Akos
I specialise in fixed income investments, leveraging over 15 years of experience in the investment management industry. Having lived in multiple places around the world, I grew up in Hungary, started my career in the United States in 2009, and later moved to Jersey (Channel Islands) to work at Lloyds Banking Group as an investment manager. In 2015, I joined Brooks Macdonald, focusing on fixed income research, portfolio management, and later leading the Direct Strategies team. My current role involves co-managing various bond funds, corporate bond strategies, and higher value bespoke portfolios. I joined Canaccord Wealth in 2025 following the acquisition of Brooks Macdonald International and work as a Senior Investment Director.
I am a CFA charter holder and hold the CFA Society’s Certificate in ESG Investing. In 2020, I was recognised as one of PAM’s Top 40 Under 40 in the private client wealth management sector.
