About Alexandra

I am an Investment Manager at Canaccord Wealth, where I manage multi-asset discretionary portfolios for institutional and private clients, helping them achieve their long-term financial objectives. 

I began my career at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, where I held roles spanning data innovation and financial supervision. I played a key role in developing the regulator’s first machine learning tools and represented this work internationally through the Global Financial Innovation Network. I also developed quantitative models to support the States of Guernsey in determining trade deal priorities post-Brexit. Latterly I served as lead supervisor for a portfolio of banking and insurance institutions, overseeing risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation programmes.

At Canaccord Wealth, I specialise in direct equity investing. In addition to my own client book, I contribute to the investment strategy for tailored client portfolios and the Canaccord Genuity Dynamic Fund.

I am a CFA Charterholder and hold an honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from the University of Warwick.

Outside of work, I enjoy coastal rowing, sailing, and playing hockey.
