Rupert Stone
Divisional Director - Investment Management

About Rupert
I focus on delivering meaningful long term outcomes for clients, working closely with private individuals, trustees, pension schemes and charitable organisations to build portfolios that reflect their objectives and values. I place particular emphasis on developing enduring client relationships and providing clear, thoughtful guidance throughout their investment journey.
I began my career in financial services in 2007, primarily as a client facing Investment Director managing a broad range of private client, trust, pension and charity portfolios. I joined Canaccord Wealth in 2022 as part of the acquisition of Punter Southall Wealth, where I am now a Divisional Director heading up a team of investment managers. I also lead our specialist Charities team, drawing on extensive experience supporting charities and trustees.
I am a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, having gained a distinction in the Fund Management paper while completing the CISI Diploma. I am also a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Wealth Manager. I was named one of the 2021 PAM Top 40 Under 40—an initiative recognising rising stars in UK private client wealth management—and was previously recognised in Citywire’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2014. I hold an MA (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
