About Kunal
I joined the company in 2021 as Corporate Development Director, working closely with our CEO in leading our acquisition and broader corporate strategy. My work spans the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through to transaction execution and the smooth integration of newly acquired businesses. The role gives me the opportunity to work with teams across the organisation to support the Group’s continued evolution.
I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and began my career with Deloitte before moving into financial services and M&A. I first advised clients on transactions, then moved to buy-side M&A at Lloyds Banking Group and later into private equity within Carlyle. This background brings together detailed financial insight and with hands-on strategic execution. Since joining Canaccord Wealth, we have acquired Intelligent Capital, Cantab Asset Management and Brooks Macdonald International.
Outside work, I enjoy following financial markets and investing trends. I'm also passionate about sports, especially football, cricket and golf.
