I joined Canaccord Wealth as Direct Equities Director in July 2026.  I have close to 30 years of experience in equity analysis on both the buy side and sell side, as a research analyst and as a portfolio manager. After beginning my career on the US equity desk at Threadneedle in London, I then moved to Paris to work for Jefferies as a stock picking analyst covering European mid-caps.  After returning to London to work on the AllianceBernstein Growth Equities team, I spent 9 years at Ruffer LLP, where I was a portfolio manager and Partner, including 6 years in Ruffer’s Hong Kong office.  Most recently I was Head of Global Research and portfolio manager at Pie Funds in London, responsible for the equity research team and for managing global large and smaller company funds. I am a CFA charterholder.
