Since completing my education, I have been fortunate to work in several countries around the world but have always been involved in the management of private client assets. Indeed, given that my entire career has been in wealth management, my children affectionately refer to me as ‘the money gardener’ – insofar as I plant client’s monies and help to make them grow.
As an investor, and in life generally, I have an enquiring mind. If I’m not satisfied with what I find, I will strive to find a better way. The line of least resistance is seldom the right answer. I pride myself in finding the best possible solution and I always seek to leave things better than I found them. Thankfully the company has nurtured this ethos and allowed it to grow. This is essential; especially as aspiration and collaboration are, in my opinion, the very fabric of the business.
